Our aim
To deliver a comprehensive clinical and didactic programme in implant dentistry in order
to meet and exceed the GDC requirements for training standards in Implant Dentistry for
general dental practitioners. The course is recognised as a stepping stone onto the Diploma
and the Master of Science in Implant Dentistry at the University of Warrick. The course is
accredited for 360 hours of CPD.
The strong hands-on component of the course continues to remain one of its strengths.
Co-directors Dr. Tatum and Dr. Aghabeigi assisted by Dr. Stephen Salt (Specialist
Prosthodontist) and a dedicated group of the Tatum Institute Alumni continue to
strengthen the curriculum in order to deliver a unique experience to participants.
The course is co-sponsored by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology,
Lille University Medical School. In addition to basic and advanced training in
implantology, there is an intensive surgical anatomy course held in Lille University
Medical School and also training in sedation techniques and Intermediate Life Support
(ILS).
The Institute is situated in the prestigious location of Highfield House in Edgbaston,
central Birmingham. There is a range of reasonably priced 3-4 star hotel accommodation
in the vicinity. We will be happy to organise your accommodation should you require
assistance.
For those considering implantology training, this course provides an amazing learning
experience that will instill confidence, competence and motivation whilst having the
flexibility to work at a pace to suit you. This is the course to attend and excellent
value for money.
